Projection in MSS-3170

Authors list

Overview:

1/15/2025

We have added a temporary switcher to the teacher station while we assess the older Crestron System.
This document will help you quickly use the current AV setup at the Teacher station.

DO NOT REMOVE ANY OF THE CABLES.
DO NOT UNPLUG THE AV SWITCH.

Using the AV switcher:

1. Tap Start Sharing Content on the Crestron to power up the projector and start the system.

- This should start the projector. If projector doesn’t power up, use the remote control to turn it on.
- The projection screen will default to black (no projection) until an input is selected.

2. Tap Share iMac on the Crestron.

3. Use the OREI switcher on the desk to switch between the Teacher and the Laptop connection

• OUT A —> 1 – Teacher Station

• OUT A —> 2 – Laptop connection

4. When finished, log out of the Teacher Station (or disconnect laptop) and tap the I’m all Done button on the bottom right of the Crestron touchpad to power down the projector.

NOTES:

– Use the extra cable on the teacher desk for the laptop. It comes with a USB-C adapter, or can be plugged directly into your HDMI port.

– DO NOT disconnect the cable from Teacher Station!

– We’ve been seeing some workstations not refresh the Azure Login Screen after a user logs out. If this happens, just reboot the workstation from the button on the bottom of the login window. We’re working on a longterm fix in the meantime.
