The display and all remote displays connect from the Teacher station into an AV switch under the table. There is a second connection from the Teacher station directly to the projector.
DO NOT MOVE/UNPLUG ANY OF THE CABLES.
The Teacher station sees the projector and the switch (with tethered montiors) as two different displays. If they are not mirroring when you log in, simply go to Settings / System / Display and do the following:
- Scroll to Multiple Displays, select Duplicate these displays.
- Recommended resolution is 1680 x 1050 for the BOXX, but other resolutions will work. The wallpaper will simply tile.
PROJECTION FROM TEACHER STATION
Turn on projector (press the power button on top).
Projector is connected to the Teacher station by default.
If projector is not mirroring Teacher station, make sure input is on DVI.
PROJECTION FROM A LAPTOP
Turn on projector (press the power button on top).
Connect orange HDMI cable to your laptop.
If projector is not mirroring your laptop, make sure input is on HDMI
We recommend adjusting your display settings to optimize for your laptop. (wording will vary from Mac to PC.
NOTE: THIS WILL ONLY MIRROR THE LAPTOP TO THE PROJECTOR, NOT THE REMOTE DISPLAYS.
* Please return the HDMI cable to the back of the projector cart, neatly rolled up, when you are finished.
PROJECTOR INPUT CHEATSHEET
• To mirror the Teacher station/Boxx, the input should be on DVI
• To mirror a laptop, the Input selection should be on HDMI and your laptop should be connected to the orange HDMI cable coming directly out of the projector.
PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE/SWITCH CABLES FROM THE TEACHER STATION.
