To get your PC to recognize multiple monitors:
1. Verify your Cables are connected properly to your monitors.
2. Right-click anywhere on your desktop and select Display settings to open the Display page. Your PC should automatically detect your monitors and show your desktop. If you don't see the monitors, select Detect.
3. In the top display area, clicking on the rightmost dropdown menu will bring up your display options. Select the option that works best for your needs.
For the largest work area, select Extend desktop.
To duplicate/mirror displays, select Duplicate desktop on (X).
4. Confirm your selection.
5. Scroll up to Resolution and select an option. We suggest that you use the recommended resolution settings, but feel free to test resolutions to see how they meet your needs. Some resolutions will impact how your applications display, so be mindful of the resolution you select!
TIPS:
• You can use Identify to temporarily pop a number up on each screen determine which display is which.
• By default, we can only mirror/duplicate two screens at a time. Duplicating/mirroring screens requires a more powerful graphics card than is currently in most of the labs.
