This provides the CAD community with secure access to CAD-hosted file shares without using VPN.
This web based solution has nuanced limitations and we anticipate problems when trying to upload either very large files or a very large number of files.
Step-by-step guide
Login using your RIT Username and Password
You can select the share you wish to browse using the drop down menu in the upper left. (see image to the right)
My Shares - The entry point for our My Shares file share system. (Which can be managed at https://request.cad.rit.edu)
Courses - Get access to course shares ( Faculty can manage their course shares at https://request.cad.rit.edu/ )
Transfer -T his share is wiped EVERY night/morning at 3:00 am. This share is only designed to help move data from machine to machine quickly.
Rendershare / Group Rendershares - Used to facilitate the use of the Muster Render Farm
Screenings - the SOFA end of the semester screenings submission
