Adobe Aero Access on CAD machines

Authors list

Adobe Aero is the most intuitive way to build, view, and share robust immersive storytelling experiences in mobile AR. Available on iOS and as a public beta for desktop on macOS and Windows.

***Disclaimer: Adobe Aero is still in beta and may be unstable. Until Aero is in stable release, CADTech is unable to promise full-support of this application.

How can I access Adobe Aero on a lab or faculty/staff machine?

If you are on a CAD-managed machine, you can open the Creative Cloud application to install Adobe Aero.

  1. Use the search bar at the top of the Creative Cloud app to search for ‘aero

Why is Adobe Aero not already installed on lab machines/every lab machine?

Since Aero is not in full-release, RIT’s Adobe administrative portal does not provide a deployable package of Aero. To mitigate this, CADTech has enabled self-service install for the Adobe Creative Cloud app in the labs, allowing anyone signed in to install Aero.
